If you and your pet find yourself in an emergency situation during our routine opening hours, please call ahead to advise us that you are attending the practice so that we can ensure we are ready for your arrival.


Our opening hours:

Colne – Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 7pm, Saturday: 9am to 4pm, Sunday: Closed


Burnley – Monday to Thursday: 8.30am to 7pm, Friday: 8.30am to 5pm, Saturday and Sunday: Closed


Barnoldswick – Monday to Thursday: 9am to 6.30pm, Friday: 9am to 5pm, Saturday and Sunday: Closed

As a guide, our initial emergency consultation fee is £265.33 (between 8am and 10pm) and £347.72 (between 10pm and 8am).

If you have an emergency outside of our opening hours, please call our Colne branch on 01282 863892 and follow the recorded instructions.
 
Our dedicated team is on hand 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with out of hours services starting from 7pm on weekdays, 4pm on Saturdays and all day on Sundays and bank holidays.
 
Your call will be answered by one of our reception team, who will take your details and arrange for a member of our out of hours veterinary team to call you. They will then offer advice over the phone and arrange for you to visit us, if required.

How it works

  • You call us on 01282 863892 and follow the recorded instructions.
  • Our reception team will take your details.
  • Your call will be passed over to our out of hours veterinary team.
  • The veterinary surgeon/nurse will then return your call to triage the emergency (please make sure you have your phone on hand).

Please note that we do not offer walk-in appointments. Please always phone in the first instance to book an out of hours appointment.
