Our lovely registered veterinary nurses can advise on many aspects of your senior pet’s care.
We offer senior pet clinics for cats and dogs over the ages of eight at our Colne, Burnley and Barnoldswick branches.

Senior pet clinics allow you to ask a vet nurse any questions that you may have about your pet’s health and their changing needs.
- Discuss your pet’s diet and how their nutritional needs may be changing.
- Detect any age-related issues as early as possible.
- Prolongs good quality of life.
We will carry out a full health check, check your pet’s weight and body condition and discuss your pet’s preventative healthcare needs.
The clinics are open to all pets over the age of eight that have been seen by a vet in the last year.
As our pets age, it’s natural to watch for changes in their behaviour, appearance, mood and mobility.
Our senior cat and dog packages help detect early signs of age-related conditions, allowing us to begin treatment or management early and help your pet to enjoy life to the fullest.

We will also send you a confirmation of interest email with a link to a questionnaire to fill out.
Please complete the questionnaire at least 48 hours before your visit so that the nurse can review it in advance.
Note: These packages aren’t available for pets on long-term medication that require regular blood tests. If you’re unsure about eligibility, please give us a call.
