Becky joined us in 2010. She is very interested in progressing our practice and making sure we’re up to speed with the latest technology. As a huge animal lover herself, she strives to ensure that we can give the best care to our clients and their pets.
Leanne graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2011, and joined our team in 2022. She has a passion for feline and rabbit medicine and geriatric care, and lives locally with her husband, two children and two cats. She enjoys going to the cinema and theatre, as well as exercising to balance out her cake addiction and love of eating out.
Yana graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2019, joining the team shortly afterwards. She has progressed through the team to become one of our clinical directors. She is interested in all aspects of small animal clinical practice, especially soft tissue surgery. Outside of work, she enjoys walking her dog, playing in a band and spending time with friends and family.
David joined our team in 1993 and has worked with a wide variety of cattle and sheep across the course of his career. His clinical interests include herd health and lameness.
Nika has been with us since 2019. She began by volunteering every Sunday while working her primary job and secured a nursing assistant position with us alongside working on reception. She has worked her way up and learned everything she could about the business and is now our Executive Communication and Marketing Co-Ordinator.

Sarah has been part of our team since 2021, and when she’s not working can often be found competing horses and riding vintage motorbikes around the local area with her partner. A hardcore cruise fanatic, she also enjoys spending holidays at sea.
Our small animal team operate from our Colne, Barnoldswick and Burnley branches and offer excellent nurse clinics, behaviour and nutrition advice alongside routine services your pet needs to live a happy, healthy life.
Alison graduated from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh in 2011, and joined our practice three years later. She has recently completed her MSc in Clinical Animal Behaviour and is now working towards becoming a certified Veterinary Behaviourist. She spends her spare time with her family, walking her dog, Charlie, and looking after her 2 cats, Indy and Hicks.
Lauren graduated from Liverpool University in 2019 and joined the team in 2021. Lauren’s main interest is dentistry, and she achieved a post graduate certificate in dentistry and oral surgery in 2024. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys running, horse riding, drawing and spending time with family and friends.
Victoria graduated in 2018, and has been with us since 2021. Her clinical interests include dermatology, internal medicine and clinical pathology, and outside of work she enjoys yoga, painting and going for walks with her family.
Ben graduated in 2022 and joined our team the same year. He enjoys all aspects of small animal practice, particularly the surgical side of things, and pursues a wide range of hobbies, including watching rugby, scuba diving, running and riding his horse.
Kate graduated in 2018, and joined the team in 2023. She has a passion for emergency and critical care medicine, having gained a certificate in this clinical area. Outside of work she enjoys helping on her boyfriend’s dairy farm; walking her dog, Percy; and competing in Crossfit competitions.
Emily graduated from the University of in Bristol 2021 and joined our team shortly afterwards. She has a keen interest in soft tissue surgery. Outside of work, she enjoys photography, travelling and spending time outdoors with her two labradors, Ginny and Lunetta.

India joined our team shortly after graduating from the University of Bristol in 2024. Her main areas of interest are feline internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. Outside of work, India enjoys scuba diving, swimming and reading. She also has a keen interest in marine mammal conservation.
Chloe graduated in 2022 and joined us in 2024. Her clinical interests include internal medicine, surgery and seeing exotic patients. In her spare time, she enjoys walking her dog and horse riding.
Kira has been with us since 1999, and is a pet health advisor with a particular interest in dentistry work. She was awarded the Veterinary Nurse Educator of the Year award in 2019, and enjoys educating the public about animal welfare and supporting nursing students with their training.
Marie joined our practice in 2011, and has a national diploma in animal care and level three diploma in veterinary nursing. When she’s not working, she loves travelling abroad, socialising with friends and spending time outdoors.
Leanne joined us in 2014, and qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2018, having achieved her level three nursing diploma. Her favourite parts of her job are working on the medical ward and as part of our out of hours team, nursing patients in recovery and working with dogs – especially Jack Russell terriers.
Chanel graduated in 2009, and joined our practice in 2021. She holds a nursing certificate in emergency and critical care, and loves educating pet owners on preventative and senior pet care. She knows that hospitals can be overwhelming for some pets, so likes to make sure that pets recovering from surgery or anaesthesia are calm and comfortable.
Emma has a level three diploma in veterinary nursing, and has been with our practice since 2010. Her clinical interests include theatre, nursing inpatients, nurse clinics and out of hours work.
Joe graduated in 2017, and has been part of our team since 2022. Outside of work, he is a keen gamer and enjoys dog walking.
Georgia graduated in 2018, and joined our team four years later. When she’s not busy in practice, she likes walking her dogs, baking and doing gundog training.

Olivia has an animal behaviour and welfare degree, and joined us in 2019. She graduated in 2020 and began her veterinary nursing training two years later, which has piqued her interest in the surgical aspects of veterinary care. Outside of work, she enjoys going out for walks with her dogs, teaching horse riding lessons and spending time with friends.
Clare qualified in 2001 and joined our night team in 2023. Clare feels very fortunate to have a career helping animals and always strives to treat the patients and the people that love them, with kindness, compassion and respect. Outside of work she plays the violin with local orchestras and enjoys electronic and classical music, especially when the two can be combined!

Linda has level two and three NVQs in small animal care and animal nursing assistance, and joined our team in 2012. She has a keen interest in helping our patients with post-operative care.
Janine graduated in 2001 and has a pre-veterinary nursing qualification. She joined our team in 2021, and enjoys a variety of hobbies, such as swimming, walking, going to the gym and watching football.

Amanda joined us in 2021 and has a BTEC in travel and tourism. She is married with two children, and loves family time, swimming, walking and going on holiday, especially to Greece.
I started at Stanley House Vets in March 2022 as part of the reception team at Colne and moved to Burnley as Branch coordinator in June 2023. I have 2 Jack Russell Terriers (Tilly and Vinnie) who keep me very busy in my spare time.
Suzy joined the team in 2005, and holds a medical secretary and receptionist diploma. She enjoys an active home life, which sees her visiting family and friends, travelling, running, cycling, playing badminton and tennis, and mountain and fell walking in the Dales and Lake District with her Labradors, Ruby and Pearl.

Jennifer joined the team in 2020, and loves having the opportunity to get to know our lovely clients and their sidekicks. In her own time, she adores cooking, nature, history and anything that’s weird, wonderful and wacky. Her favourite thing to do is cuddle up in front of a fire with her partner, a good horror film and their two pooches, Winston and Frank Banjo.

Samantha started with us in 2022. She has two dogs, Ember the cocker and Heidi the cavalier, a feral cat she never sees and a hamster called Bonnie.
In the past, Sam used to foster dogs and sometimes ended up keeping them, one in particular a Cavalier called Meg who became her soul dog.
In her spare time she enjoys crochet and frog spotting whilst going on walks with her dogs, her highest record was 87!
Katrina joined the team in July 2023. She is a farmer’s daughter with a ridiculous passion for her horses. She is incredibly driven, both in the workplace and very competitive with the horses outside of work.
Sarah’s interests include cooking and baking. She has three greyhounds in training at Nottingham and has an ex racehorse she does dressage and jumping with. She also has another Greyhound at home with her working cocker.
Isobel enjoys playing netball and rounders, loves going on holiday and spending time with friends.

I joined the Stanley House Vets team in September 2024. I have a Level 3 Diploma in Biomedical Science and a Level 3 Diploma in Forensic Science. I studied these in hopes to become an RVN in the next few years. I have a black cat called Mittens and a mischievous ferret called Pablo. I am bilingual with Lithuanian being my first language and English being my second. In my spare time I enjoy baking sweet treats and spending time with my family and friends.
Jude is the proud owner of two Labradors and four rabbits. Having worked in financial services for years, she decided it was time for a change and became a veterinary receptionist.Outside of work she has lots of pets to keep her busy and she loves being outdoors.
Sarah spent seven years working in our large animal team, before taking a break and returning in 2020. She has a diploma in equine studies and business management and a degree in equine science, and spends much of her free time cheering on her sons at various sporting activities or enjoying the odd glass of wine with friends and family.
