Becky joined us in 2010. She is very interested in progressing our practice and making sure we’re up to speed with the latest technology. As a huge animal lover herself, she strives to ensure that we can give the best care to our clients and their pets.
Leanne graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2011, and joined our team in 2022. She has a passion for feline and rabbit medicine and geriatric care, and lives locally with her husband, two children and two cats. She enjoys going to the cinema and theatre, as well as exercising to balance out her cake addiction and love of eating out.
Yana joined our team shortly after graduating in 2019, and is interested in all aspects of small animal clinical practice, especially soft tissue surgery. Outside of work, she enjoys riding her horses and playing badminton.
David joined our team in 1993 and has worked with a wide variety of cattle, sheep and horses across the course of his career. His clinical interests include herd health and equine lameness.
Nika has been with us since 2019, and graduated in 2017 with a degree in equine rehabilitation and therapy. She also has a level three extended diploma in horse management. In her free time she enjoys walking her German Shepherd Odin and spending time with family and friends.

Gemma lives with her husband, son and cat, and has been with our practice since 2015. She loves getting to know her clients and patients, and enjoys going on holiday, laughing with friends and going on days out with her family. She is also partial to the occasional glass of red, and loves smelly cheeses and (cheesy) 80s music.
Stacy Lamb is our Lifetime Care Plan Administrator
Sarah has been part of our team since 2021, and when she’s not working can often be found competing horses and riding vintage motorbikes around the local area with her partner. A hardcore cruise fanatic, she also enjoys spending holidays at sea.
Our small animal team operate from our Colne, Barnoldswick and Burnley branches and offer excellent nurse clinics, behaviour and nutrition advice alongside routine services your pet needs to live a happy, healthy life.
Alison graduated from the Royal School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh in 2011, and joined our practice three years later. She is currently working towards a master’s degree in clinical animal behaviour, and spends much of her spare time with her family, walking her dog and looking after her two cats.
Lauren graduated from Liverpool University in 2019, and joined us two years later. Her clinical passions include internal medicine, inpatient care and dentistry, which she is working towards a certificate in. In her free time, she enjoys horse riding, swimming, and producing her own equine and canine pet portraits using graphite pencils, charcoal and pastels.
Victoria graduated in 2018, and has been with us since 2021. Her clinical interests include dermatology, internal medicine and clinical pathology, and outside of work she enjoys yoga, painting and going for walks with her family.
Ben graduated in 2022 and joined our team the same year. He enjoys all aspects of small animal practice, particularly the surgical side of things, and pursues a wide range of hobbies, including watching rugby, scuba diving, running and riding his horse.

Kate graduated in 2018, and joined the team in 2023. She has a passion for emergency and critical care medicine, having gained a certificate in this clinical area. Outside of work she enjoys helping on her boyfriend’s dairy farm; walking her dog, Percy; and competing in Crossfit competitions.

Kira has been with us since 1999, and is a pet health advisor with a particular interest in dentistry work. She was awarded the Veterinary Nurse Educator of the Year award in 2019, and enjoys educating the public about animal welfare and supporting nursing students with their training.
Marie joined our practice in 2011, and has a national diploma in animal care and level three diploma in veterinary nursing. When she’s not working, she loves travelling abroad, socialising with friends and spending time outdoors.
Natalie graduated in 2009, and joined our team in 2013. She has a foundation degree in veterinary nursing, a certificate in veterinary nursing and emergency critical care and a diploma in canine behaviour.
Leanne joined us in 2014, and qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2018, having achieved her level three nursing diploma. Her favourite parts of her job are working on the medical ward and as part of our out of hours team, nursing patients in recovery and working with dogs – especially Jack Russell terriers.
After achieving her level three nursing diploma, Lucy joined our team in 2017. Her clinical interests include emergencies, monitoring anaesthetics and doing all the jobs associated with operating. She also works as part of our out of hours night team.
Chanel graduated in 2009, and joined our practice in 2021. She holds a nursing certificate in emergency and critical care, and loves educating pet owners on preventative and senior pet care. She knows that hospitals can be overwhelming for some pets, so likes to make sure that pets recovering from surgery or anaesthesia are calm and comfortable.
Emma has a level three diploma in veterinary nursing, and has been with our practice since 2010. Her clinical interests include theatre, nursing inpatients, nurse clinics and out of hours work.
Joe graduated in 2017, and has been part of our team since 2022. Outside of work, he is a keen gamer and enjoys dog walking.
Georgia graduated in 2018, and joined our team four years later. When she’s not busy in practice, she likes walking her dogs, baking and doing gundog training.

She graduated in 2020 and began her veterinary nursing training two years later, which has piqued her interest in the surgical aspects of veterinary care. Outside of work, she enjoys going out for walks with her dogs, teaching horse riding lessons and spending time with friends.

Linda has level two and three NVQs in small animal care and animal nursing assistance, and joined our team in 2012. She has a keen interest in helping our patients with post-operative care.
Janine graduated in 2001 and has a pre-veterinary nursing qualification. She joined our team in 2021, and enjoys a variety of hobbies, such as swimming, walking, going to the gym and watching football.

Jennifer joined the team in 2020, and loves having the opportunity to get to know our lovely clients and their sidekicks. In her own time, she adores cooking, nature, history and anything that’s weird, wonderful and wacky. Her favourite thing to do is cuddle up in front of a fire with her partner, a good horror film and their two pooches, Winston and Frank Banjo.

Sarah’s interests include cooking and baking. She has three greyhounds in training at Nottingham and has an ex racehorse she does dressage and jumping with. She also has another Greyhound at home with her working cocker.

With close to a century of experience between them, our farm team are adept in all areas of production, animal husbandry, health and welfare.
Our farm and equine teams are based in Higham at our newly refurbished Ashlar House Barn. Farmers can make the most of routine farm visits and herd and flock health plans tailored to their specific requirements, while horse owners can get assistance with everything from pre-purchase examinations to worming programmes and official measurements.

Helen qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 1997, and has a keen interest in cattle fertility work, health planning, disease control and farming networks.
Nick graduated in 2006 and has a passion for ophthalmology, equine production and internal medicine. He is also keen to develop his interests in equine sports medicine and reproduction.
Catherine Corbett is one of our large animal vets
Hannah graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2023, with a keen interest in foal based work she is looking forward to meeting lots of foals over the summer months.
Originally from Chorley but having spent some time in the lakes Hannah enjoys nothing better than getting out and about in the fresh air on long walks with her pointer Drift.
Lindsey joined our practice in 1995, and has a medical receptionist diploma. Outside of work, she loves taking long walks in the country with her family.
Sarah spent seven years working in our large animal team, before taking a break and returning in 2020. She has a diploma in equine studies and business management and a degree in equine science, and spends much of her free time cheering on her sons at various sporting activities or enjoying the odd glass of wine with friends and family.
Alice has an equine management degree and joined us in 2019, and brought her extensive experience of the farm and equine industries with her, having grown up on a farm and managed local equine establishments. She has a horse called Penny who she competes in events with, and a dog called Layla, who is the (unofficial) large animal team mascot.
Sue has been with us since 2021, and is a keen horse rider. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and family.
