Stanley House Veterinary Group was established in 1911, we offer high quality, first opinion veterinary care to small animals, horses and farm animals in Pendle, Burnley and the surrounding areas. We are an approved veterinary nurse training centre and an approved member of the Royal College Practice Standards Scheme. We have great facilities which will allow for good case work, including a state-of-the-art DR digital x -ray machine with cloud base image storage, ECG, flexible endoscope, ultrasound scanner, tonometer, infusion pumps and a well-equipped lab including an electrolyte analyser.
Pendle offers a wide variety of leisure activities, for walking and hiking enthusiasts, we are situated in the northeast of Lancashire, nestled between the Ribble Valley and the Pennine Way. The Forest of Bowland, an area of outstanding natural beauty, is on our doorstep and the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District, and Bronte Country are all within easy reach. For people who enjoy the city life, the vibrant cities of Manchester, Liverpool, and Leeds are within easy reach by road or public transport and offer excellent shopping and night life.

Team
We have a friendly and supportive team. As a practice, we do take part in several social events. Over the last few years, we have taken part in the annual charity Pendle Pub Walk covering 13 miles and visiting a few pubs for refreshments on the way! Many of our employees enjoy taking part in activities, often raising money for various charities.

The Rota:
· Full or part time hours
· To give you an idea of our current pay scales. A one year qualified vet will be paid £33,000. A vet who has been qualified for 6 years will be on £53,000
· Weekend OOH is 1.5 in 8 with generous time of in lieu given
· We are happy to discuss the hours you work around your needs.
We are more than happy for team members to organise charitable events. We do like to be involved with the local communities and raise money where possible.
