We are looking for a part time accounts assistant to work with the account’s manager on all other aspects of running a successful accounts and payroll function at Stanley house Veterinary Group.
The hours will be approx. 24 hours a week. The hours can be flexible to suit needs though, you are required to work on Monday’s Thursday’s and Friday’s. For example, someone wanting to work around school hours could work 4 x 6 hour days including Monday’s Thursday’s and Fridays or 3 x 8 hour days.
Salary will be dependant on level of experience.
Skills & Qualifications required
Level 2 or above AAT or other relevant accounts qualification
Microsoft Office 365 experience
The ability to produce and maintain simple Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
A problem solver with a proactive approach and an eye for detail
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and use their initiative.
Main duties include
Reconciling customer sales made by cash, credit/debit card, BACS & Standing order.
Producing weekly and monthly invoices and statements,
Cash Handling, Banking and Petty cash reconciliation.
Resolving accounts queries by phone or email.
Basic credit control duties.
Assisting with purchase ledger and payroll duties as required including coding, inputting and updating spreadsheets.
Other office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining change, liaising with partner organisations etc
